CROWBOROUGH CHESS CLUB BARBECUE

SATURDAY 28 JUNE: 6.30 pm till LATE

The Salimbeni family has kindly agreed to host this season's party at Staplefield Grange, Staplefield RH17 6EL. For directions, see below.

Please support this event in aid of the Club's finances. We hope that all of you will be able to come . Please bring all your family and friends.

The cost is £10 per head for adults and £5 for juniors under 18. Please send cheques (in favour of Crowborough Chess Club) to Don Grant at 37 Rochester Way, Crowborough, East Sussex TN6 2DS. To help us with buying and preparing the food, please send these to arrive by Wednesday 26 June. The price covers barbecued kebabs, sausages and burgers plus a selection of salads and puddings. Soft drinks, coffee and tea are also included but please bring your own alcohol.

For those who want it, there will also be swimming, croquet, badminton and cricket . There will be a raffle and donations of raffle prizes would be most welcome.

Staplefield is about 3 miles south of the end of the M23 (from where it becomes the A23). From the A23, take the turning signposted to Staplefield and Slaugham. Follow the signs into Staplefield until you reach the Village Green. On its far side, you will see a post box with a lane leading off the Green beside it. This is Tanyard Lane (unmarked). You take this and Staplefield Grange is the 3rd house on the right hand side, about 150 yards up.
